They’ve also hidden a tragic legacy: if they fall in love too deeply, their lovers vanish. But then, after generations of vanishings, a strange boy appears in the gardens.

The boy is a mystery to Estrella, the Nomeolvides girl who finds him, and to her family, but he’s even more a mystery to himself; he knows nothing more about who he is or where he came from than his first name. As Estrella tries to help Fel piece together his unknown past, La Pradera leads them to secrets as dangerous as they are magical in this stunning exploration of love, loss, and family.

Alice’s only lead is the message her mother left behind: “Stay away from the Hazel Wood.”

Alice has long steered clear of her grandmother’s cultish fans. But now she has no choice but to ally with classmate Ellery Finch, a Hinterland superfan who may have his own reasons for wanting to help her. To retrieve her mother, Alice must venture first to the Hazel Wood, then into the world where her grandmother’s tales began―and where she might find out how her own story went so wrong.

Top Ten Books I Liked but Can’t Remember Anything/Much About

Welcome, Bookworms!

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly post which was created by The Broke and the Bookish however as of January 16th it will be switched to Artsy Reader Girl

The Secret Circle book #2 – 3 by L.J. Smith

I read this book, in the beginning of 2017 took me until June to finish it. Here me out i read it in January, March and finished in June. I wasn’t into reading like i am now so i had other things on my plate and put the book done for a few months in between. I liked this book more then the first.

The Captive Part II / The Power (The Secret Circle, #2-3)

Take Me by Cherry Adair

I started reading this book in December of 2010, i finished in May 2011. Again i was not into reading but from what i wrote on my Goodreads i loved this book!

Take Me

Ghost of a Chance by Yasmine Galenorn

Okay so on Goodreads i did not put when i read this so that means i read it before i started Goodreads. Which i joined December 2010. I again liked this book but might read it again soon to remember things.

Ghost of a Chance (A Chintz 'n China Mystery, #1)

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling

This book is not bad for when i read it, i started it in March 2017 and finished in April 2017. How ever i have now forgotten some of it and need to buy i think one more for the series and read them all. Maybe i will re – read it to my daughter.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Harry Potter, #1)

Before She Ignites by Jodi Meadows

This book came out just last year, i got this book in an Owlcrate and i read it in October 2017 and finished in November 2017. I did not mind this book just there has been so many books read it is hard to keep track of each story line!

Before She Ignites (Fallen Isles Trilogy #1)

Pretty Little Liars Book #1 by Sara Shepard

I read this book in April 2017 and Finished in May 2017. As you can tell i liked the book and the only thing i can remember is what i watched on t.v. which it not the same as in the book. At least i had feels of the t.v. show being a bit different but i liked that i can match the characters to the t.v. show characters. I only read 4 of these books and i do not care to read the rest.

Pretty Little Liars (Pretty Little Liars, #1)

Broken Hearts by R.L. Stine

I remember getting a whole load of R.L. Stine books for my oldest, and me stealing this one thinking ” meh he wont mind right! “. Well this is one book i fell in love with but have lost the mindset of what actually happened in the book. I read this book in March 2016 and Finished April 2016.

Broken Hearts (Fear Street Super Chiller, #4)

The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants book #1 by Ann Brashares

I read this book and finished this book all in March 2017. I only liked it but not loved it. All i remember is that i was thinking it was like the movie and it turned me down and was not. That is what happens when you watch the movie before reading the actual book first.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Sisterhood, #1)

Spectre by Gerrit van Eck ( my brother in law )

I read this book not only because i am related to the author but i wanted to see how he manged to write each character and back then i was not in-depth on reading as i am now. I read this book November 2015 and finished in December 2015.

This is the only signed copy i have on my shelves.

Image result for Spectre by Gerrit Van Eck

The Wrath and The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh

This book like one other book lasted only a month long!!! i read and finished this book in April and i will be re-reading it before i read the second one so that i can refresh my mind and read on.

The Wrath and the Dawn (The Wrath and the Dawn, #1)

What have you read and can’t remember much about?

Read 1 page or chapter a day

I wanna try to read at least a chapter a day, maybe i can get through more books if i do that.

Read 35 Books

This is my Goodreads Challenge, last year was 30 and i just made it. If i get to 35 books i will go with my daughters challenge of 49 books.

Readathons

I am only aiming for Read-A-Thin i feel if i put more on my plate i will fall out of reading or not keep up with all of them.

BuddyReads

I loved Buddy Reading with Amanda @ A Court Of Books And Love. I will be looking for more people to buddy read with.

Booktube More

I have a few videos now that i will be editing for my booktube but i need to keep up on it.

Write More Of My Book

I got a good chunk of a story done when it was November so we will see what this year brings me.

Buying Restrictions

Okay so i am not fully going on a book ban, just more of a slow down ban. I will keep with my Owlcrate and maybe one month or a few of no books at all ( except for the owlcrate )

Schedule ( Blog, Booktube, Bookstagram )

I need to schedule better. If anyone has a good idea let me know.

Take More Notes While Reading

I was doing good but have stopped to mainly enjoy the book more.

Stress Less

I need to stop stressing about when things need to be up or if i have missed a day!
