Amazing Read, Can’t Get Enough

Her heart has to break before it can open.

When star soccer player Peyton Rios receives an offer from her first-choice college, senior year starts off exactly as planned. But when Peyton uncovers her boyfriend’s dark secret, she confronts him—and finds herself falling down a flight of stairs. Peyton’s knee—and maybe her dream of going pro—is shattered. Everyone is talking: Was she pushed, or did she fall? Peyton knows the truth, even if no one believes her.

He has to let someone in before it’s too late.

With her future on the line, Peyton goes to stay with her uncle in a small Tennessee town to focus on her recovery. Dating is the last thing on her mind—until she meets sweet, sexy Owen Law.

But Peyton doesn’t trust her heart, especially when she senses that Owen is hiding something. When their secrets are finally exposed, Peyton has to decide if love is worth fighting for.

I will start off by saying i was scared to pick up this book ( after buying it for a group read ) due to the scene of her being pushed i did not want to feel any feelings like anger towards a book.

How ever it took be a bit to get really into it and all i have to say is SOMEONE NEEDED TO YELL AT ME TO KEEP GOING WITH IT.
I LOVE THIS BOOK, I had my feelings but they were not as bad as i thought and there were some good twists in the book, i did not see them coming at all.
I loved Owen and his loving and funny ways and most of all i loved the TWINS!!! they are my all time favorite and don’t laugh but at one part of the book i seriously thought they would match well with The Banana’s & Pajama’s……..
REED can eat my shorts. ( quoting Bart Simpson )

Over all this book is on my top list for 2018, i could not put it done once i got more into reading it and i am so happy i did not give up.

I can say though i have a few questions i do not know if this spoils anything but i’m asking anyways.
Is she back in DC or Tennessee? Is Tess and her back to being friends?

GrantedEveryone who wishes upon a star, or a candle, or a penny thrown into a fountain knows that you’re not allowed to tell anyone what you’ve wished for. But even so, rest assured: There is someone out there who hears it.

Ophelia Delphinium Fidgets is no ordinary fairy—she is a Granter: one of the select few whose job it is to venture beyond the boundaries of the Haven and grant the wishes of unsuspecting humans every day. It’s the work of the Granters that generates the magic that allows the fairies to do what they do and to keep the Haven hidden and safe. But with worldwide magic levels at an all-time low, this is not as easy as it sounds. On a typical day, only a small fraction of the millions of wishes made get granted. And even granting those promised few means navigating a human world fraught with danger.

Today, however, is anything but typical. Because today Ophelia is going out on her first assignment. And she’s about to discover that getting what you truly want takes much more than a handful of fairy dust.

  • 4.5 🌟

There will be plenty of time for me to beat him soundly once I’ve gotten what I came for.

Sent on a mission to retrieve an ancient hidden map—the key to a legendary treasure trove—seventeen-year-old pirate captain Alosa deliberately allows herself to be captured by her enemies, giving her the perfect opportunity to search their ship.

More than a match for the ruthless pirate crew, Alosa has only one thing standing between her and the map: her captor, the unexpectedly clever and unfairly attractive first mate, Riden. But not to worry, for Alosa has a few tricks up her sleeve, and no lone pirate can stop the Daughter of the Pirate King.

I started reading this book for many reasons the two main reasons were. Heard a lot about it & Owlcrateathon. I did not receive this book in the Owlcrate.

Let’s just put it this way i am still processing this book! i loved learning about Sirens and female pirates and really to be brave and confident. I also loved Riden ( new book boyfriend ) nothing else i have to say here lol

This read was Hilarious, Magical and so many wonderful twists and turns had me reeling to keep reading.
